Fredericksburg, VA, 08-08-2022: SimVentions is pleased to announce a five-year, $75M+ contract award for providing technical and engineering support efforts to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Virginia, specifically the Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems Department, to support the US Navy’s goal in ensuring surface electronic warfare dominance. The required engineering support encompasses research, development, test, and evaluation in emerging electromagnetic fields to enhance the ability to assess and maneuver in the electromagnetic spectrum for purposes such as communication, navigation, advanced threat characterization and identification, cognitive decision support, and collaborative weapon sensor engagements to enhance the warfighters’ ability to assess and engage emerging threats.
“SimVentions has supported the engineering of electronic warfare systems for over 15 years, and we are excited to expand on that experience to serve this important warfare area in new and exciting ways!” said SimVentions President, Joe Caliri. “Three things come to mind. First, we are grateful for the continued hand of providence on our company and the opportunities that have been granted us – and are honored that NSWCDD continues to put their trust in us for this critical work. Second, SimVentions strives to be trusted partners by delivering on our promises; I am grateful for employee-owners who are the best at what they do as this win is a direct reflection of their commitment to excellence! Third, we’re proud of our amazing team and the expanded positive impact, afforded by this contract win, that they will have in support of our warfighters – the ultimate success of our warfighters is truly our honor!”
“Many of our employees have dedicated their careers to maturing this capability and are looking forward to delivering the next generation of innovative electronic warfare technology,” said SimVentions Group Vice President, Brad Neal.
